Summary
Public: Cream jug, cream earthenware, decorated with a 'crayonned' pattern of wavy purple lines and blue spots, beneath a semi-matt glaze. Private: Half-spherical cream jug on prominent, straight footring, with high pulled lip and strap loop handle with ribbed sides. Decorated underglaze around lower body with a wide 'crayonned' border of a continuous purple zig-zagged line surmounted by a row of regularly spaced tiny blue circles. Back of handle picked out with a row of tiny blue circles, neck rim painted with a single mushroom-coloured band. Semi-matt glaze.
