Summary

Public: Globular vase with short narrow neck made of bone china, decorated with a high temperature reduction-fired glaze of clouded pink with pale brown and green patches. Private: Squat globular vase with sloping shoulder, wide inverted foot, narrow neck and short everted rim. Decorated with a high temperature reduction-fired copper based glaze known as 'peach-blow' (almost certainly, although could possibly be 'haricot') which has the appearance of marble or semi-precious stone. Overlapping, slightly iridescent patches of soft grey, olive green, pale brown and purple over a pinkish peach ground colour. Two dark brown spots inside neck, probably the result of gaps in the glaze. pattern : Peach Blow shape : 1075
