Couture evening dress in chocolate brown silk crepe with gold satin cross over ties to bodice front, and very large bow with trailing ends to back. Woven labels 'Jeanne Lanvin' and 'Castillo' with pencilled number '16.674'. Model dress entitled 'Le Mystere de la chambre jaune' by Castillo for Lanvin, Autumn/winter 1952-3 (see photo). Castillo designed for Lanvin from 1950-63
