Summary

Stretch pleated black polyester shift dress with ruched pendant pleated trim to sleeves. Woven label 'Issey Miyake'. Miyake was one of the first Japanese designers to have success in Paris, setting up his house in 1973. His style usually combines traditional Japanese textile techniques like pleating, layering and wrapping, with Western couture.
