Three pairs of Schiaparelli labelled shoes: the first 2 with pointed toes and stiletto heels, court shoes covered in black honeycomb fabric, and slingbacks in silk printed with pansies (1960-3); the 3rd pair, slingbacks (1965-8) with blunt toes and made-up bows. All labelled 'Schiaparelli, Paris, New York'. Belonged to the private collector, BillyBoy*, the avante-garde artist, designer and art collector who has been collecting top-end couture for 40 years and who lives in Switzerland.
