Summary
Simpson of Piccadilly retailed-copy of a Mondrian mini dress by YSL; made in Austria by Srtohbach Boutique; wool felt, mostly cream panels with a mid brown panel at left shoulder and band at hem, with black outlining; lined cream acetate. The iconic look was much copied - YSL rive gauche brought out a reissue in 1980 (see 2011.77). See also a C&A copy (1999.101)
