Summary
An engraved wooden printing block, used for the illustration on page 133 of PG Hamerton's book 'The Isles of Loch Awe and Other Poems of My Youth'. It shows a manor house with steps down to water, in which stand cattle in the foreground. 'An Old Hall', the eighth illustration of 16 in the book, is described as being, 'In the village of Worsthorn, Lancashire'.
