Summary

Public: Jug and lid made of hard paste porcelain, enamel colours with 'Flying Squirrel' pattern. Private: Hard paste porcelain. Pear-shaped body with S-shaped handle and small, pointed spout; close fitting, lightly domed lid. Later metal mount with thumbpiece cast in the form of a shell. Painted in iron red, ochre, blue, sea-green and brown (outline) enamel colours in the Kakiemon style with 'Flying Squirrel' pattern (Eichhornchendekor). pattern : Flying Squirrel & Eichhornchendekor & Flying Fox
