Public: Figure of seated man playing a lute, hard paste porcelain, decorated in enamel colours. Private: Figure of a man playing a lute, hard paste porcelain. A seated figure, dressed in a frock coat, waistcoat and breeches, plucking a lute, his head turned back towards the left, on a low, shaped base decorated with applied flowers. Painted in pink, mauve, green, blue, brown and black enamel colours and gilt. The figure's right arm is a replacement.
