Summary

Public: Fluted teabowl with scalloped rim, soft paste porcelain, painted in blue, pink, purple, yellow, green, turquoise and iron red overglaze enamels and gilt. Private: Deep fluted teabowl, tapering to base, with narrow tapering footring and scalloped rim. Deep overglaze bleu de roi border beneath rim with gilt floral decoration and outlines, surmounting three floral sprays in overglaze enamels around sides, and gilt edged blue band to footring. Small grey/green dab in centre of bowl well.
