Narcissus

Francesco Bartolozzi 21 Sep 1727 - 7 Mar 1815

Summary

The young Narcissus is lying down looking at the reflection of his image in a pool of water. The pool is at the bottom edge. A quiver lies by his side. Behind him, on a rock, a young woman is hiding behind a tree. She is seated and is looking down at the youth. There are trees in the background and buildings can be seen to the right.
