Summary
Crowded scene by the steps of a classical building. A man in a mitre, King Solomon, is sitting on a throne at the top of the steps to the left. A baby is being held by its ankles and suspended in the air at the centre of the crowd. At the upper centre there is a man peering around a column to look at the crowd below.
