Summary

Three figures in a dark interior space lit by a light source originating from the table in the centre. Male adult seated to right wearing blue jacket, red cap and glasses, his left hand resting on is knee and right arm leant on the right corner of the table. On opposite side of table is a boy who leans against the table and hods a stick out at a girl in a bonnett standing in the foreground and facing to the right towards the adult. The girl holds open a book with both hands at chest height.
