Summary

Street scene. A gothic ecclesiastical building dominates the left side. The columns of the building have niches with religious statuary. There are timbered buildings in the background to the right. There are groups of figures in the foreground to the left. The left hand group has three women, two seated, with white bonnets. The centre group has women seated and stood around baskets of goods. To the right there are figures walking in the street and to the far right is a covered cart carrying two figures.
