Summary

Scene of an arena in Assisi, Italy, viewed from above, and looking across rooftops of surrounding buildings, with a domed church on the right. Traders with bulls and donkeys are gathered in groups in the arena, other figures are entering the arena through a small doorway in the bottom right corner. The houses are yellow in colour with vermillion red windows and trim around the roof. The sky appears both stormy and calm at its extremities.
