Summary

Country scene. In the far distance, a large hall can be seen, it has a flag flying from one of the roof tops. In the forground are three canal boats, one empty and two with their resident families on a stretch of water. On the towpath is a man on a horse, with another horse alongside. Worsley New Hall was built in the 1840s at Worsley, to the North West of Manchester. It was demolished in 1949.
