Summary

A row of shops in Manchester. Three are in the same tall building. On the left is a shop with a sign that reads "W & M DODGE" above the door. In the office above with a sign in the window that reads "PRUDENTIAL/ ASSURANCE/ COMPANY", on the right of this is Dickson and Robinson's seed merchants. On the right hand edge of the image is a pub named the "WELLINGTON INN". Above the inn is 'BOWEN' an optician whose shop is marked by a giant pair of glasses hung outside the first floor window.
