View of a house, the left hand side of it is in ruins exposing the inside, and with rubble on the floor. In the background, on the left can be seen other buildings. Manchester was particularly severely bombed by the Luftwaffe in late December 1940. This image may be of the results of this 'Christmas blitz'. Edwards was an architect and sculptor who worked for Manchester City Council’s Architects Department.
