Summary
Loose unfitted unlined A-line summer smock-jacket; cotton very boldly printed with large bunches of stylised grapes in purple and orange on a black ground with lime-green stars and white squiggles; single breasted with single black circular button at neck; long full parallel sleeves; inverted box-pleat centre back; shoulder pads; woven label, cb neck 'Yves Saint Laurent Variation, 42'. Variation was the diffusion range launched by YSL around 1980 and some 25% cheaper than Rive Gauche.
