2-piece black wool suit, flocked with a rose design in velvet. Very long single breasted jacket fitting over hips with pleating and rounded fronts; 8 presstuds and one hook&eye; v-neckline; long sleeves with rounded pleated cuffs and 3 presstuds; attached shoulderpads; lined black acetate; woven label, silver on blue, cb "Thierry Mugler, Paris"; matching short skirt, lined black acetate. Thierry Mugler started his own label in 1974 and opened his first Paris boutique in 1978. His fashion house remained under his control until 2003.
