2-piece charcoal wool suit, pinstriped with silver. Very long double breasted jacket fitting over hips with curving faux pocket flaps and a horizontally edged hem; 3 pairs of self covered presstuds; v-neckline with wide stepped revers; long sleeves with double presstuds; breast pocket with attached cream satin handkerchief point; attached shoulder pads; lined black acetate; woven label, silver on blue, cb "Thierry Mugler, Paris"; matching narrow skirt, lined black acetate. Thierry Mugler started his own label in 1974 and opened his first Paris boutique in 1978. His fashion house remained under his control until 2003.
