Summary

Public: Pear shaped coffee pot with double intertwined handle, leaf-moulded spout and flower finial. Cream coloured earthenware, painted in red and yellow overglaze enamels with floral sprays. Private: Pear shaped coffee pot on turned spreading foot with beaded rim. Double intertwined ribbed strap loop handle with flower and leaf terminals, tapering S-shaped spout with relief-moulded leaf details to base and tip, beaded border to neckrim. Enamelled overglaze in red on either side with tall floral spray, including roses and tulips, smaller sprigs scattered below and above main spray. Flower and leaf terminals and leaf moulding to spout picked out in red, with small red sprig beneath spout tip, beaded borders picked out in yellow. High domed cover with flattened everted rim and beaded border picked out in yellow, sides painted with two red flowering stems. Applied flower finial with budding stem terminal, picked out in yellow and red. Small hole pierced to one side. Pale cream coloured body with greenish-yellow glaze, slightly crazed in patches.
