Summary

Pear shaped teapot on wide footring, with narrow neck and S-shaped scroll handle. Plain creamy white soft paste porcelain body with yellowish tint, with sprigged decoration of two identical spiky prunus stems, one on each side of body. Shallow domed cover with central acorn finial, applied prunus decoration and pierced hole. Clear glaze, pooling slightly round relief.
