Summary

Portrait of two grown up sisters in eighteenth century dress, against a leafy landscape background. They are standing side by side, their bodies turned in towards each other, the woman on the left hand side is leaning on her sister's shoulder and intimately touching her arm. The woman on the left wears a dress in white with gold trim holding a dusty pink cape, in her left hand she holds a recorder. The other sister wears a dress of off-white.
