Summary
Realisic, landscape painting depicting a view along the River Thames on a bright sunny day, looking towards the village of Goring-on-Thames. Thatched and brick houses and a church tower are visible in the background emerging from clumps of trees, narrow boats are moored along the river bank to the left of these structures. The sky is bright blue creating a picturesque scene, with clouds reflected in the water. The surrounding land is particularly flat, coloured yellow and green.
