Summary

A panelled design with classical scenes and sculptural figures. The centre panel has a nude male figure to the left, holding a large boulder ready to throw at two naked figures who are running away to the right. There are nude male sculptural figures to each side of the central panel and a smaller panel at the top. The small top panel has an eagle carrying off a naked woman. Plate 3 from the series, Galeriae Farnesianae Icones c.1674. Polymethus throwing a rock at Acis and Galateaat centre; above Zeus as an eagle, holding Ganymedes.
