To the right of the scene is a line of buildings that appear surrounded by, if not floating on, water; travelling across from the left of the composition, skimming the surface of the still stretch of water that extends from the foreground to the distant range of mountains on the horizon, is a boat approaching the buildings where already two others have moored. A sun-filled scene with blue skies.
