Summary
A freely painted landscape scene in Gillingham. The painting depicts a country lane with a small group of trees to the right, overshadowing a fallen tree trunk. A small boy is passing along the lane. To left in the background there is a cottage and church, with the whitewashed walls picked out by the sun. A fine blue sky is above with bright white cumulus clouds.
