William Frend de Morgan 1839 - 1917

Summary

Four square plastic-bodied earthenware tiles coated with white slip and decorated with 'Persian' colours hand-transferred underglaze. Each tile has a design of two cornflowers in three shades of blue with purple centres, in opposite corners. The other two corners are occupied by leaves in dark and pale greens.
