Summary
Grey brushed cotton, cream & red bird pattern. Loose smock-like dress and round neck. Full skirt. Long sleeves, made from another piece of material from elbow down, then gather into a long cuff, with six buttons. Dress bought in the winter of 1970-1971. Donor thought that it seemed very trendy at the time, and she wore it with a victorian locket on a black velvet ribbon, blue-grey suede skin-tight Biba boots or blue strap shoes and opaque coloured tights.
