Summary
Maxi length coat in thick pinky red wool: fastening asymmetrically to the left and up to the top of the collar with 11 matching plastic buttons; horizontal waist seam; diagonal flapless side pockets; lined pink acetate; woven label, gold on black 'BIBA'. Purchased at the Biba store in Kensington High Street in September 1969 for 12 guineas. Wearer (donor) worked at Guys Hospital as a nurse. Other models of the same coat were in green and gold.
