Cocktail dress in thick white net, fully beaded in black bugle beads and white cotton sequins in a bold floral design in a broad band at bust and hem with scattered black geometric lozanges between; sleeveless with shoulder straps; waist seam; very full skirt with two attached underskirts in net and white nylon; bodice with 6 bones and a cb zip (broken); woven label 'Samuels, Manchester'. Belonged to the wife of a wealthy accountant, who shopped at Samuels, Manchester and Kendal Milne, and who died in 2009 aged 94.
