Summary
Dress and jacket in golden brown silk, brocaded in gold floral sprays and labelled 'Christian Dior London, 10217'. Two piece sleeveless dress with wide boat neckline and narrow skirt, mounted with an underbodice in brown silk and with an over bodice in brocade, fastening to the back with 5 self fabric covered domed buttons and attached to the underbodice only at the back shoulder straps; matching short boxy jacket with half length sleeves, wide turn-down collar and revers and cf fastening with a single domed button. 1958-60 was when YSL was designing for Dior in Paris.
