Child & Spectre

Eric Gill 1882 - 1940

Summary

There is a figure on the left wearing a belted tunic, and hair pulled back, holding a cross at arms length to a shrouded figure with claws looming over them on the right. The monster has ears on the top of its head, slanted eyes, with one arm extended from its cloak, toward the cross-bearer. Its feet are turned to the right and have three claws each. Its other arm is hidden under its cloak. The figure also has a halo type circle around his head. There is a distant horizon line in the background.
