Three Kings

Eric Gill 1882 - 1940

Summary

Three crowned figures, with halos, are seen in profile facing from left to right. They are each wearing a different type of crown and wearing knee length robes. The two on the left are each holding walking sticks while the figure on the right is carrying something. They seem to be walking. There is a starry sky in the background, with a larger star to the right. A proof of the wood-engraved illustration on p.4 of 'Adeste Fideles, a Christmas Hymn' and no.12 of the publications of the St Dominic's Press in Ditchling, Sussex.
