Summary
Two figures stand to the left side of the composition, they are holding the lead to a bull. In the centre are a number of small boats on a river, some with sails and others with oars. Across the river to the right of the painting is a meadow with cows on. Above them is a wooded hillside with a large, three towered building on top, Lincoln Cathedral.
