Summary

Public: Bust of a woman with long hair interlaced with seaweed and classical drapery over her shoulders, partially concealing a dolphin mask at the base of her chest, symbolising water. On a tall rectangular pedestal with square base. Pale cream coloured body. Private: Bust of a woman with head turned slightly to the left, her long hair interlaced with seaweed, and classical drapery over her shoulders partially concealing dolphin mask at base of chest, symbolising Water. Waisted circular pedestal on flat square plinth, surmounting tall rectangular pedestal, stepped at top and bottom and relief-moulded on each side with husk chain draped over blank circular medallion. Broad square base with relief-moulded rosettes at stepped corners. Pale cream coloured body to bust and circular pedestal with yellowish glaze, slightly darker body to rectangular pedestal below, base enamelled deep red-brown.
