Summary

jumper, skirt and scarf in machine knitted acrylic nylon in a pattern of pinky beige stylised upright flowers in rows framed by a geometric border, on a pale blue ground. Batwing jumper with wide boat neckline; ribbed cuffs and welt; double inset vertical panels either side cf and cb in coloured geometric knitting; label "Bill Gibb, London" cb neck. Wrap-around skirt tying with long pinky beige strings; unlined; cut in 3 panels; side pockets. Scarf, long; cut in 2 double sections; fringed ends. Jerkin, sleeveless and very full, gathering into ties at the waist. Sides, top and cb with an inset panel of coloured knitting matching the jumper. Label cb neck. Bill Gibb started his label in 1971 and opened his first retail store in 1975. He had short-lived but phenominal success until 1979.
