Summary

2 piece outfit in cream silk georgette, resist-printed to form a pale green foliate design with purple and blush flecks. Short sleeved loose top with smocked and pleated front and with contrasting cream cuffs and low collar; cf opening with 5 small green buttons, matching buttons decorating tabs on shoulders and back neck. Matching skirt with similar smocking cf and cream flapped pockets; cb zip and opening. Top and skirt lined cream silk. Labelled "Billl Gibb, London" Bill Gibb started his label in 1971 and opened his first retail store in 1975. He had short-lived but phenominal success until 1979.
