Summary

A portrait of a young woman in an ornate frame. The subject is facing the viewer and has long hair which is pinned up with a loose ringlet to the left. The base of the frame is decorated with two nude infants; one to the right facing the viewer and holding a figurine in his left hand, the other to the right with back to the viewer and a bow and arrows in front of him. The frame is inscribed "SARAH DUCHESS OF MARLBOROUGH".
