Oval plaque, with dark blue dip on back and front, white relief three-quarter right side, head and chest portrait of Francis Bacon, in plain coat. Two firing holes on reverse. Ornate gilt wooden frame, with guilloched and scroll borders and top-knot of rococo scrolls and foliage concealing loop behind.
