Summary

White rectangular plaque with mid-blue dip on back and front. White relief decoration of the Chariot of Bacchus, a chariot drawn by two panthers, one with a putto riding on its back. Chariot has single four-spoked wheel and zig zag border interspersed with quatrefoils, and carries the attributes of Bacchus. These include: basket containing emerging snake, large two-handled goblet, and two staffs or sceptres, both surmounted by finials of leaves and berries, one tied with a ribbon, one with a festoon of ivy. Three small firing holes on reverse. 1906.91/2b : white rectangular plaque with med-blue dip on back and front. White relief decoration of the Chariot of Hermes, drawn by two rams, one with putto on its back holding the reins. Chariot has six-spoked wheel and border of diamonds, and carries the attributes of Hermes. These include: winged helmet, vase and snake, and a caduceus. Young figure of Hermes stands behind the chariot, with a torch in his right hand. Three small firing holes on reverse.
