Horse Kicking

John Nash 1893 - 1977

Summary

The solitary horse in this print is depicted through the use of white line-work against a black background. The horse fills the space and there are no other details in the print other than it. It is facing to the left but its head is turned to the right as it reaches towards its raised back left leg. The horses’ turned head makes its stance more interesting as its body appears almost contorted as it stretches round.
