Public: Coffee can and saucer, bone china, with matt yellow/green and white checked covercoat print to cup, and aerograph-sprayed yellow/green saucer. Private: Cylindrical coffee can, sides decorated with a chequered pattern of four yellow/green ('Old Gold') covercoat-printed rectangles alternating with four white rectangles, each with a fringed, zig-zag edge down one side. Saucer aerograph-sprayed matt yellow/green, reserving rim and cup well in white.

Pattern Patterns come in many different guises, from the simple stripe to the flourishing flower. Whether abstract or natural, simple or complicated, patterns can elevate the ordinary and functional into an object of beauty and delight.
