The Countess of Blessington (1789-1848) was an author. She married her second husband, Charles 1st Earl of Blessington, in 1818. Her first novel 'Cassidy' was published in 1833. She was also a contributor to 'The Daily News' on its foundation in 1846. She died in Paris.
