Summary
Portrait of a male figure with a moustache and wearing a shirt and tie, seen in three quarter profile to the left. The figures eyes are looking to the right. His left hand is held in his left trouser pocket. From the series English Portraits 1897-1898 issued in twelve parts, each part containing two lithographs. Thomas Hardy is from Part 1. The edition was 750 but only a small number appeared due to many being destroyed in a fire at the binders.
