Summary
Head and shoulders portrait of a woman facing to the left and seen in three quarter profile. The subject is gazing into the distance. Her hair is pinned up and she is wearing a high necked dress. There is no background detail. From the series English Portraits 1897-1898 issued in twelve parts, each part containing two lithographs. Mrs Meynell is from Part IX. The edition was 750 but only a small number appeared due to many being destroyed in a fire at the binders.
