Summary
Lumber men at work in a wood. There is a man to the left foreground holding an axe. The tree to the right of him has a wedge cut out from the left side of the base of the trunk. To the right of this tree is a man with an axe over his shoulder. A horse and flat bed trailer can be seen at the centre midground. The horse is facing to the right and the trailer has a tree trunk on it. To the right foreground is a man with a hook blade, lopping branches from tree trunks. There are two men with a double ended saw to the midground left edge.
