Summary

Public: Cup, hard paste porcelain, fluted with enamel colours, gilt in Kakiemon style. Private: Cup, hard paste porcelain, four sided, fluted form, with small angular handle with scrolled terminals. Moulded, indented footring, the base with a central hollow and four channels in the form of a cross. Painted in iron red, blue, sea-green, yellow, purple and brown enamel colours and gilt with a 'banded hedge', flowers and a flying phoenix in the Kakiemon style.
