St Ann's Square
Francis Frith 07/10/1822 - 25/02/1898
Summary
View of St. Ann's Square, Manchester, taken from the church end of the square. A hansom cab driver in a smartly curving billycock hat is seated on his vehicle in the right foreground. Other cabs await customers on the far side of the square, behind the statue of Richard Cobden (1804-1865), which faces away from us. Pedestrians, proprietors and loungers occupy the pavements.
